Phwoar! RID!

by abizz @ 31.05.2006 - 02:31:34

We just got in from seeing Robots In Disguise.
it was excellent.
my head hurts and my ears are ringing but it was well worth it.
it was mental.
and so danceable (if that is a word, if its not, it is now)
i loved it.
Noel Fielding was there. it was odd.
I am creating a Flickr site. i can't wait.
although there is a limit on photos, which is not so great.
I am really tired, but i am going to write another one of these tomorrow because i am going to see 'Man to Man with Dean Learner' being recorded for channel 4, and no doubt i'll have some comments to make on that.
WOOOO ROBOTS!

Last day of school!

by abizz @ 18.05.2006 - 18:50:13

Today was the last day of school.
we didn't know it was the last day of school, until half way through media Mr Sims came round and told us all to go home.
thats not completely true, someone got a phonecall from someone who's class had already left, turned out they'd forgot to come and get us, so we were sitting in the top of C block like mugs, until they remembered.
It was sad to leave, didn't even get one last maths lesson.
we took loads of photos. and almost the entire year went to lake meadows. that was good, til it poured with rain, then everyone went home.
I also got a job today,
i am going to work for a wedding florist which is exciting!
Well, i don't have much more time to write, one of the mothers in Archie's class at school is having a Virgin Vie party which me and my mum are going to!
so wahey!
First exam on monday, ICT! ugh! then English, and RE, then a whole week off,
seeing Robots In Disguise on the 30th, and a new TV show recording on the 31st, aswell as the first day of the florist job on the 3rd.
busy week, eh!

ugh. anti-racism & lethal bizzle.

by abizz @ 30.04.2006 - 11:49:55

yesterday,
we went to the anti racism concert thing in trafalgar square.
it was pretty good at the start, some speakers, and dancers and singers from schools about london.
we were having fun.
me and alice got split up from the rest of the group, but it was okay, because we had got further to the front, just befor lethal bizzle came on, we noticed they had got into the front & centre bit, so we weaved our way over to them. this was a mistake.
the crowd were wild for 'lethal b' and things got a bit rough. quite rough actually. and then he did that '22 grand job...' and people got a little out of control, we had walked our way into the worst patch and could barely stand up. people were pushing & kicking & punching, and we had lost laura.
so we tried to fight our way out, but we were just getting pushed back. there were so many people, we were like drowning, then i lost my shoes, don't really know when they came off my feet, but it seemed funny, a man helped us get out of the madness, and we walked right out of the crowds checked we were still in one peice, and then i remembered my lack of footwear. i had trodden in glass and my feet were bleeding, we hobbled over to the fountains and i washed my feet to get the dirt out, which seemed kind of silly, as i had to walk barefoot some more, and they just got more dirty.
i was looking for a first aid place so i could get some antiseptic, but they didn't have one, so a police man told me to ask a man in a yellow tabard, i asked him. he was just a bit patronising. geez. he called someone else in a yellow tabard, she called an event organiser, who called a first aider (all i needed was a plaster to keep the dirt out!) and they took my name so they could ask on stage for my shoes back. the woman sprayed a bit of antiseptic and gave me a plaster which i put on. and we met up with someone else from school, who was carrying someone elses bag that happened to have my size shoes in it. so i wore them for a bit. we walked up to where the backstage area was. and we saw the paddingtons messing around, alice asked them if they would ask on stage for my shoes. and they said okay and all climbed into a port-a-potty. it was strange. we went back down to where the stage was, and watched for a while, we kept well out of the crowd though.
and we saw a man that looked EXACTLY like julian barratt (from the boosh) wasn't him though.
we were next to a man and his mum, and all these girls kept running up to him and saying 'oh my god your from ........ i love your band!' and getting photos with him, we had never heard of them. ever.
we were dancing, and i looked round, and the ambulance lady was calling me, though i didn't know if she was calling me or someone else, but it was me.
my shoes had been found!
and all was well!
then we wandered around, went to macdonalds etc.
we saw boy kill boy
they were good
and we saw belle and sebastian
they were even better. and some other band called 'trafalgar' i think. they were great. yeah it was a good day,
now i am aching, and i am betting everyone else is too.
worth the pain i am sure.

The fratellis. & other excitement...

by abizz @ 27.04.2006 - 22:02:44

yesterday, we went to see the fratellis at camden barfly.
we had bought 4 tickets, and there were 3 of us going, so emma smith came along,
it started at 7.30, so we left early to make it to TOPSHOP. and we went and had a re-take of the original topshop glasses photo. we walked around there for a while, tried on the wigs. there was a huge afro one, and a german girl told me i should buy it. i didn't, Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
we got back on the tube and it was about 7.05 so we panicked a little, but i think we decided we'd be fashionably late or something, because we seemed to be dilly dallying, we got off in camden, and the directions said 'take a right' we took a left, and went to macdonalds, by now it was way past half seven, so we were planing on missing the support.
after macdonalds we strolled up. and saw some suspicious characters lurking about under the 'camden lock' bridge. we walked past the elephants head we did, pete sweets boozer. and then we saw barfly, so we walked in, and it was just a pub, so we were a little confused, 'wheres all the music?' and so we had a look around and some man said ' go down there and take a left' so we did. and there was a tiny little staircase with a man sitting at the bottom saying 'ticket?' so he stamped our hand, we went upstairs, and found the place, it was brilliant. really quite small, like the size of a classroom. and very few people (few more came later, but still way less than expected) and the music hadn't started yet, which was good for us. so we stood about a bit, and then the first band came on, so we moved a bit closer, and when we decided we liked them, a bit closer, until we were at the stage, there was just one person infront of us, but then her friend turned up, who was soo tall and i couldn't see a thing. the first band were good, the second band were even better 'figure 5' they were called, and the drummer... HAS NO ARMS! it was incredible, he just had drumsticks strapped to his stumps and played like that. very very clever. and they were a bit kaiser cheif-y. which was good to see, bit of tambourine shakin, some strage dancing.
Photobucket - Video and Image HostingPhotobucket - Video and Image Hosting
then the fratellis came on, they were very good. they were funny and scottish and some girl next to me said 'what language are they speaking?' and her friend said 'scottish i think'. and they sung some songs no one knew, and then they did 'creepin up the backstairs' and everyone went WILD, i really mean wild. like pushing and chargind forward and throwing beer, my legs got soaked, but it was all good fun, and as soon as that song finished, everyone was calm again. then they did some more songs, and then went off stage, but came back straight away with one more song. then we left. but the whole night was great.

ooh, i am writing this on the new laptop, which came on monday and is brilliant. i love it. the other day, i had history homework due, hadn't done it, so i typed it up in the middle of the night, and i used world book for some revision.
8 mornings left at school until i leave forever. tomorrow is everyones final full day, next week we go in in the mornings and then can leave or stay and revise after lunch. i am only staying for english and science which is good, cos i don't want to be in school while no one else is. after about 15th may, we are leaving for good, only come in for exams, and then, on the 30th june, we go in for assembly, then thats it, forever!
we have a lot planned now we have so much time on our hands, saturday 'rock against racism' free concert in trafalgar square, boy kill boy & belle and sebastian among others, monday myself and lillie are going for a shop about in old camden, and then next thursday we are going to see simon amstell from popworld in islington, its fun to be able to go out and do stuff!

My Birthday/Booshday.

by abizz @ 20.04.2006 - 01:16:46

I haven't written on this for the entire holidays!
but i will write right now.
its 23 minutes to one.
and i'm a bit tired
but too excited to sleep.
I'll start with the most exciting things.
Today i saw the mighty boosh again,
not only that, but it was my 16th birthday aswell!
yeah!
and it was excellent, and i got an iPod nano, which i am listening to me boosh tunes on, and i have an apple laptop coming on monday! woooo! i am so excited. i also got some footless tights. and licorice. excellent!
so i went to school
and it was pretty boring
got my new ID though,
and we did a speech on whether britain was a health promoting society, but to be honest i don't care.
i came home at lunch
and then i got archie from school
and i played about a bit with my iPod.
and then it was time to get ready.
so i tried on about a thousand outfits, and when i decided, Alice was at the front door!!
woo, so we went to Brixton :-/ (we got sooo lost!) and we queued outside, and then, a tiny man strolled past, and we realised it was Mr Michael Fielding/naboo. that was when we got excited.
they opened the doors, and we went in to find our seats, and the were so brilliant.
they were row E, which sounds a bit far back, it was so close though. and we were pretty central.
we could see them right in the eye, which is better than the last time.
this time it was soo much funnier. i had a stitch. and my face hurt.
i got some photos, which were ok. but i am a bit annoyed, cos when vince did the electroboy dance, he pointed right at the camera, and it didn't take in time, so the photo is of him turning away and all blurred.
I did however get a photo of rudi looking right at me, & naboo pointing our direction from his carpet. they are way too blurred for my liking though, too hard to get a good photo there.
it was so different this time.
at the end, they flew! and grabbed each other in the air and spun around.
and the hitcher, jumped off the stage, and then asked some man for a boost back up, even though there were steps right next to him.
ahh funny,.
when noel ran past us, we were ready with our cameras, but he was way too fast, so although i scraped him with my camera, all you can see is his spangly mirrorball suit.
there were so many funny things about it. i can't even remember them all.
Here are some photos.....

a funny quote... DD
'You fight well for a Jimmy Saville impersonator'
'You lot better shut it, or i'll fix it for you, and you and you!'

ahh, and at the end, old gregg finally got his 'hooks into howard'!
they kissed.
and also there was flying, which i might have already mentioned, but it was so funny, its worth another.

This past couple of weeks i have also been to scotland and to hampstead for my birthday.
it was great in hampstead, such a nice place, if i win the lottery. i will most certainly be buying me a house there.
we also got the bus to Kentish town kentish town, yeah! kentish town kentish no!
and we saw tom from mcfly again! he follows us everywhere we go!

The Mighty Boosh.

by abizz @ 31.03.2006 - 00:59:24

I have just returned from the mighty boosh.
i have never laughed so much. ever. It was sooo funny. i really feel i got my money's worth.
We met friends there, in row b. the lucky kids. but row Y turned out to be excellent. we had PERFECT view of the stage. and not too far back. i could see facial expressions and everything.
but the show was so good. It started off as a wee bitta stand up. which turned into the main show, and then it dipped a bit, a few less funyn jokes. But then, the hitcher came out of the box, did his funny little dance. and it was back on track... then i laughed continuosly til the interval. when our chums came and sat next to us. then we went for a walk, but we came in late. and the moon was already talking. we had to climb over everyone to get to our seats, and i forgot what row we were in. oh it was a bit of a kerfuffle. the second half was great. we thought it ended but the curtains opened again, and there was a suprise appearance from Old Gregg. sung their little song... and when it had finally ended. We hung around in the lobby for a while. Then, i got a phone call from my mum to say there was a stage door. so we went over there. And waited. And waited. And waited. There was a door door, and a sliding panel thing for loading and unloading on the trucks. We were near the panel-y thing.. and spotted Naboo. he was tiny! then we saw howard moon. they couldn't see us because we were peeping through the delivery entrance, but then Naboo turned around, and realised he was being watched. and looked pitifully at us. like 'haven't you got anything better to do?'
Well Naboo came out, and we got a photo with him.
We got bored of watching and i was watching the men load the trucks when laura nodded over my head, and i spun around and Vince Noir/Noel Fielding was standing right behind me! leaning out the delivery bit! it was weird. Weirdest thing, ages ago, Alice asked for suggestions on what she should wear to boosh. I suggested a rather cool pac-man belt i had found on 80stees.com, and today, NOEL was wearing it. And then Howard signed my little note book thing saying 'Boosh love, J Barratt' or something, and a little drawing of the mask thing. (i am so posting pictures)noel/vince autograph
Then, Bob fossill signed my book 'what a book!! Bob'
The man in the gorrilla costume who plays Bollo came out, and no one knew who he was, except mark, they were chatting away!! so no one asked him for his autograph. but slowly people started to realise and as he got in the van (which we were standing RIGHT next to, cos everyone was too busy crowding the stage door) he started to sign things, he wrote 'Amy, you bitch! Big boosh love! Bollo (dave)' Bollo Autpgraph
then last, Vince came out... he toook agesssssss. but it was worth it, we all got an autograph, i got a weird little drawing, and then 'noel'. i wanted to get a photo but he needed to be whisked off in his van. but he did give us a kiss!
thats right, noel fielding. (he was in the IT crowd too, richmond. and also Nathan Barley)
they drove off, we drove off and the night was over.
but soooo much fun.
I want to go back.
Next on the list, Simon Amstell, yes yes!

Say 'Boooooooooooooooosh!'

The mighty boosh.....

ooh back again.

by abizz @ 27.03.2006 - 21:29:12

I haven't written anything in a while. That is partly because i have realised how boring my blog is. none of that inner musings schlaar that most blogs are full of, i just like to talk about what i've done. I don't mind if no one reads it. I just like to write it down. So i still am.
I haven't really done much though...so...
well. i have read a book. a good book. 'Matchstick Men' by Eric Garcia. yes yes. It is the same as the film, which is a darn good movie. And the book was excellent. I read it in about 2 days. I have now leant it to Lainey to read. I think i'd quite like to be a con-man, if it weren't illegal and all.
I also stayed with Granny at Andrews house on Saturday night. It was so very very quiet there. but very nice. And then for mothers day we went to 'The Lion and Lamb' in little cansfield, near dunmow. It was sooo nice there. I reccomend.
I went to a food tasting thing at the school on monday. it was all very healthy.
on wednesday, i went with Archie's class on a road safety walk. i had to hold a little girls hand and help her across the road. I asked her to look both ways and she just stared at me. And so i asked her if she could hear any engines...still staring at me. so i asked her if it was safe to cross...:|
Then, Archie and his friends went to Marsh Farm. which was excellent!
I played with the kiddies in the sand pit and we saw some animals, and went on a tractor. it was great!
BOOOOOOOOOSH tonight.

BOOOOOOSH!

by abizz @ 08.03.2006 - 21:43:59

I have just been to collect my Boosh tickets from the cliffs pavillion! wahey!
I will be there on the 30th March, yes yes!
I'm in row Y :-/ BUT I'M STILL THERE!
I had a busy weekend, i stayed at isabelle's sunday & Monday. monday i came home for lunch... shhh... and i got asked to babysit, but we were already going out for dinner, had maths tutor and media... soo... I went back to school, had science with Mr Willys (I dislike that man! I am going to buy a tee shirt that says 'what you talkin bout willis' and wear it on non uniform day) and then i stayed doing media til 4.25, then i ran home (literally, ran!) and was here in time for Sir David of Maths at 5. Then, when we managed to coax him out of the door at 6.15, we ran up to meet isabelle and we went to the blue boar for some dinner, BUT, they had NO veggie food! NONE. not even a bit that i just didn't want to eat, they were all out! and i had to be babysitting by 7.45! so.. we ran up to papa pizza, and they made us a pizza, but just as they served it up, i got a phone call to say that they wanted me earlier... so, we got it boxed up and went home. Then i went next door, and played a very exciting game called 'buzz' wow its a bit cool! then the children went to bed, and i watced Americas Next Top Model! that show is great! i want Kim to win!!! although i know who does, and i'm not too happy! But this week it was a rooobish highlights show, because Cassandra left a few weeks back and they're down a show. Highlights shows are the lowest of the low, i have already seen every episode, i do not need to watch the best bits again!
then i watched a little bit of the Oscars, but it was a bit boring, so i watched Sports kids moms and dads! oh my gosh! its about these little tiny 8 year olds, whose parents pressure them HARD into doing things, and don't allow them to be children. Everyone should watch it. There was a little girl, and her mum was making her go cheerleading and kept shaking her head, saying 'wheres your competitive spirit, whitni/courtni/mandi?' (i don't remember the girls name) and then the little girl kept faking stomach aches to get her off of school/practice on a monday because she had school, then cheer practice, then dance then cheer practice in one day and she hated it. And whitni (with a little heart to dot the 'i' probably) was so worried about upsetting her mum, she put up with it! Seriously, watch it, 10pm LivingTV2.
I am so very very excited for the mighty boosh!!! 22 days! and I am Also excited for....
V FEST!!!!!! yyesss!

also, if anyone wants to buy tickets for corinne bailey rae, i am selling 2!!

I am so tired

by abizz @ 06.03.2006 - 10:04:32

I am sooooo tired today, i only fell asleep at 5.30 this morning. I stayed at Isabelle's and i could NOT get to sleep. I watched American pie the wedding twice, and then i watched re-runs of Jeremy Kyle and 'the peoples court'. And i listened to the clock chime every hour and half hour. I got up at 7, so that 1hr and 30minutes sleep, not enough!
Yesterday, i went to chelmebob/chompsford with Laura, on the train, there were works at billericay so we got the bus for free to shenfield. I bought some good lookin glasses.
On saturday i got my left lobe re peirced. woop. and i did some cleaning and photo shopping! that is so hard! I have no idea how to use it!
i'm in IT and tired, staying at Isabelle's again tonight, hope i sleep better!

2nd march

by abizz @ 02.03.2006 - 21:58:42

today, zara and i did a very good presentation...
it was about asteroids, and i was meant to have Armageddon, but i didn't. sorry bizara! BUT, i did have a lime and some raisins, so, i held the lime (earth) and zara explained about asteroids/meteors while pelting raisins towards my lime. ahh it was good.
last night i watched that peaches geldof program, i think i only understand about 12% of the words that come out of her mouth... she tries to be so clever but i find it a little annoying. though she does have the right ideas... i wonder how many people actually understand what she is talking about...
Tomorrow, we are going to 'band night' at KEGS woo!
but tonight i am going to sleep
wait, no i'm not... i have media to do! oh no!!!
